Where does Plymouth Navy Strength gin come from?
Plymouth Gin is an appellation d’origine contrôlée reserved for a certain type of gin that can only be produced in the city of Plymouth which itself is located in the south of England.
How is this gin made?
Plymouth Navy Strength gin is made with seven botanicals: juniper berries, cardamom, coriander, archangelica, iris, and orange and lemon peel.

Tasting Tip:
Plymouth Gin Navy Strength can be drunk neat, over ice or in cocktails like the Gimlet. The Gimlet is said to have been invented by the surgeon Sir Thomas Desmond Gimlette (1857-1943), who served in the British Royal Navy from 1879 to 1913:
– Mix all ingredients (50 ml Plymouth Navy Strength and 5 ml Lime juince cordial, lime syrup) with ice.
– Pour into a chilled cocktail glass
